Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Budlytics, operated by Natural Integrity LLC (“Budlytics,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our mobile app and website (the “Service”). The Service is intended only for adults 21 and older.
Information We Collect
- Account information: your email address and authentication data.
- Profile information: display name, optional bio, avatar image, and your email-visibility and marketing preferences.
- Contributions: COAs you upload and the data extracted from them, suggestions you submit, reactions, and favorites.
- Donation information: if you donate, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your payment details; we receive a confirmation, amount, and any name/message you choose to include. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Usage & device data: basic technical information (such as app version, device type, and IP address) used to operate and secure the Service.
“Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California and several other states require us to state this clearly and to offer a mechanism to opt out; because we do not sell or share, there is nothing to opt out of, but you may contact us with any request.
How We Use Your Information
- to provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- to build and display the public lab-data database from contributed COAs;
- to process donations and send transactional emails (e.g., replies to your suggestions);
- to send product updates only if you opt in;
- to secure the Service and prevent abuse; and
- to comply with law.
How We Share Information
We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and when required by law. Our key providers are:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage;
- Stripe — donation payment processing;
- Resend — transactional email delivery;
- Microsoft Azure — automated text extraction from uploaded COAs;
- Vercel — website hosting.
Aggregate lab data and content you contribute to the public database (such as strain, lab, and grower information from COAs) are displayed publicly by design; this is the purpose of the Service. Your account email is never shown publicly unless you explicitly opt in.
Data Retention & Account Deletion
You can export a copy of your data or permanently delete your account at any time from the app’s settings. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, favorites, reactions, and suggestions. COAs you contributed are retained in the public database with your personal identity removed, because the extracted lab data was donated to the platform (see our Terms of Service).
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing. California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and other states provide such rights. You can exercise most of these directly in the app (export / delete), or contact us at support@budlytics.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Data Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit, row-level access controls, and restricted access to secrets — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time; we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
